Voice Channel Roles

Voice Channel Roles automatically assign roles to members while they are connected to a voice channel. When a member leaves all voice channels, the role is automatically removed. This feature is useful for:
  • Identifying active voice participants
  • Rewarding voice activity
  • Showing who is currently in voice channels
  • Granting temporary voice-only permissions

Human VCRoles

Human VCRoles are assigned to regular members.

Add a Human VCRole

?vcrole humans add <role>
Example:
?vcrole humans add @In Voice

Remove a Human VCRole

?vcrole humans remove <role>

Bot VCRoles

Bot VCRoles are assigned to bot accounts when they join a voice channel.

Add a Bot VCRole

?vcrole bots add <role>

Remove a Bot VCRole

?vcrole bots remove <role>
Bot VCRoles are a Prime feature.

View Configuration

?vcrole show
Displays all configured Human and Bot VCRoles.

Reset VCRoles

?vcrole reset
Removes all configured VCRoles.
Resetting VCRoles only removes the configuration. Existing Discord roles are not deleted.

Limits

Free servers can configure 1 Human VCRole. Prime servers can configure up to 5 Human VCRoles and 5 Bot VCRoles.

Important Notes

  • BlaZe’s highest role must be above the VCRoles it manages.
  • Server owners bypass role hierarchy restrictions.
  • Roles are automatically given when joining a voice channel.
  • Roles are automatically removed when leaving voice channels.
